While the birds still sing by Ruskin Bond summary

While the birds still sing by Ruskin bond and I read this book recently, so this is going to be a review on this blog of this book

So reading books by Ruskin bond has been a part of my journey as a reader for the longest time ever and I have mentioned this quite a few times on my channel that Ruskin won is one of my absolute favourite authors and I always look forward to reading books by him

So while the birds still sing has been published by Nataraj publishers and it came out in 2021 and I want to thank Nataraj publishers for sending this book my way

It is no secret that Raskin bond is an ardent nature lover and that is apparent in all his books while the birds still sing is a collection of Ruskin bonds thoughts writings and insights on nature and all these writings have been accompanied by stunning watercolour illustrations by pranita dutt

This book is non-fiction and in this book, raskinwand has talked about different elements of nature he has talked about the mountains he has talked about trees plants and flowers insects reigns and each chapter is preceded by a thought on the subject of the chapter and there are poems every now and then

In this book as well so in this book Ruskin born talks about different kinds of trees birds insects etc but the thing is that this is not done in a way of sharing cold hard facts, in fact, quite the opposite raskin bond talks about different elements of nature in the most indulgent and a loving manner and it is quite evident that he is very thankful for all these things and his gratitude is palpable that he gets to experience all these elements of nature

So as i told you that this book is non-fiction so in terms of information and knowledge there is a lot to learn from this book and there is so much that you can get to know when you read this book about nature and in addition to that reskin bonds descriptions of things are so vivid and realistic that you're able to picturize everything very easily and that definitely adds to your experience of reading this book

So because of urbanization and city life people were already getting disconnected from nature and with the advent of smartphones this got way worse and people have lost touch with nature and you seldom find anyone wanting to experience the little joys that nature provides

So this book is a wake-up call in that sense because this book urges the reader to reconnect with nature and to marvel at the experiences that nature can offer because they're so enchanting and magical

Reading this book is certainly a moving experience and it was more so for me because i genuinely agree with everything that has been expressed in this book and the fact is that i have been wanting to spend time in the mountains myself and reading this book literally intensified that desire of mine

Raskin born gets quite philosophical in this book and that makes reading this book a very soothing and a very calming experience but then again that is something that I experience every time I read a book by him so that is a constant with Ruskin bonds books and well this is definitely not a quick read at all this is a slow read in fact and this is the type of book that you savour and you take your time with it and you don't mind it at all,

In fact, I had a great time with this book because I took my time with this because this is the type of book that you want to read with your mind relaxed because that's when you like and enjoy this book the most

So this book is beautiful and is a great one to add to your collection so if you are a fan of Ruskin bonds writing but even more than that if you are a nature lover and you love to read descriptions of nature and if reading about nature makes your heart sing then this is a book that you can definitely not miss out on because it will be a magical experience for you

Reading this book will definitely make you want to pack your bags and go on a vacation in the mountains because that was the impact that it had on me and I absolutely loved reading this book.
