Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen admitted to paying two women before the 2016 election in exchange for their silence regarding alleged affairs with Trump. In addition, he said he did so at the direction of Trump himself- which further proves how serious this situation is.
While Trump has admitted reimbursing Cohen for these payments, this doesn't negate the fact that he is implicated in illegal activity.
Even if he isn't personally profiting from it, his name is on a transaction that could be used against him in court. This makes him potentially just as guilty if not more so than the people who are actually receiving payment.
As mentioned, there have been many rumors regarding Trump's impending arrest over the years.
Many people believe that he will be removed from office via impeachment due to his many crimes against the American people. Unfortunately for him, he has already admitted to committing campaign finance fraud against members of Congress during elections.
This means that his crimes are so extensive that there is no way he can get away with being impeached and convicted for all of his other crimes.
In fact, it's possible that Republicans don't want him removed from office since they'd be removing a vote against their own interests- including their financial success and moral integrity.
Even though Hinderaker's book focuses on Richard Nixon's crimes, it can still be used as an indictment of current American politics. Many have dubbed Trump's presidency 'corrupt' from its very beginning due to his close ties with corporations and billionaire crooks like Sheldon Adelson and Thomas Peterffy.
Fortunately, this is causing many Americans to become politically active for the first time due to being outraged at these corrupt leaders. More and more people are joining leftist political parties due to their willingness to stand up against corruption in government and corporate leadership.
If enough Americans join together to vote against all politicians on the same level, we could end this madness before it gets any worse.
As former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen revealed more information about his former boss during court proceedings, many Americans took this as a sign of redemption in his eyes.
Having betrayed him once by leaking information to discredit him, he now reveals damaging information about him in an attempt to protect his ex-client Joe Biden from a potential attack by Stormy Daniels.
Even though Cohen's actions cause irreparable damage to the current administration, they don't seem likely to cause enough damage to remove Trump from office any time soon.
When bad habits are impossible to shake off, there is always hope that something will change within a person- something that may happen after enough public pressure has been applied over time.
