Book Review:

Annika Martin's book, "The Wrong Idea", is a collection of essays written over the course of her career. She started out as a journalist and then became a writer for television shows including "The Real World". Her writing style is conversational and she uses anecdotes to illustrate points. In this book, she talks about how she got into journalism, what she learned along the way, and some of the mistakes she made early on.

In the first chapter, she discusses how she got into journalism. She explains how she was always interested in writing, but didn't know where to start. She says that she had no idea what she wanted to do until she went to college and took a class called "Writing for Television." She decided to take the class because she thought it would help her get a job at a local news station. After taking the class, she realized that she enjoyed writing for television and decided to pursue it.

She goes on to talk about what she learned while working for different news stations. She explains that she learned a lot about editing and writing stories. She also learned that it takes time to build relationships with people in the industry. She says that if you want to succeed in journalism, you have to work hard and make sure that you're not just doing things because they're popular.

In the second chapter, she talks about the mistakes she made early in her career. She says that she was young and naive and did many things wrong. One thing she does mention is that she was afraid to ask questions. She says that she felt like she wasn't good enough and didn't think anyone would hire her. She also says that she was afraid to speak up and say something that might offend someone.

In the third chapter, she talks about how much she enjoys writing now. She says that she loves being able to write about whatever she wants. She also says that it's nice to be able to express herself without worrying about whether or not it will offend someone.

In Chapter 4, she talks about how to find jobs in journalism. She says that you should look for opportunities that interest you and try to learn everything you can about them. She says that you need to put yourself out there and network. She says that you shouldn't wait around for someone to give you a job; you should go after it yourself.

Chapter 5 is about how to get published. She says that you have to submit articles to magazines and newspapers. She says that you don't necessarily have to be famous before you can get published, but you do need to have a strong voice. You also need to be willing to take risks and experiment.

Chapter 6 is about how to become successful. She says that you can't expect to be successful overnight. You have to keep trying and learning. She says that you also have to be willing to fail. If you're going to fail, you have to learn from it and move forward.

Chapter 7 is about how to stay motivated. She says that you'll never feel completely satisfied unless you're constantly pushing yourself to improve. She says that you always have to be looking ahead and thinking about what you could do differently.

Chapter 8 is about how to deal with rejection. She says that you may receive rejections, but you still have to keep moving forward. She says that you just have to remember that everyone gets rejected sometimes.

Chapter 9 is about how to manage your time. She says that you only have 24 hours in a day and you need to use them wisely. She says that you cannot spend all your time working, but you also can't relax either. You have to balance your time between work and play.

Chapter 10 is about how to handle criticism. She says that you will inevitably receive criticism, but you shouldn't let it affect you. She says that you've got to ignore the haters and focus on your own goals.

Chapter 11 is about how to deal when you're overwhelmed. She says that you often feel overwhelmed when you're starting out. She says that you're going to feel nervous and anxious, but you just have to push through it.

Chapter 12 is about how to deal if you're bored. She says that you probably won't be excited about everything you do, but you should always be open to trying new things.
