Book Review:

Through my window by Ariana Godoy, I think the writing style was not for me I didn't like anything about it I don't know if it was because of the translation or it was just poorly written in Spanish as well I cannot tell you because I didn't read the original version 

but I do want to say that if you're trying to read this just because you're looking for something fun then this is for you 

but honestly, I didn't really get anything out of it if you don't know what this book slash movie is about it follows this girl named Raquel who is obsessed with her neighbor 

she's like in love with him and she stalks him she goes to many many places just to see him and kind of be part of his life without actually being part of his life 

because he doesn't like her back I think this book had a lot of issues that I didn't like in regards to rape secrecy friends parenting 

I don't know it had a lot of issues I don't want to give out any spoilers but I just didn't like how this book was addressing these issues this is a very descriptive book 

I wouldn't say that it has a lot of explicit scenes I mean it does but it's not as explicit I think this could be a cheap version of after by anna todd honestly 

I don't think after is the best book or anything I think that book deserves either 1.5 to 2 stars but this one doesn't even deserve one star 

I rated it one star just because I needed to give a rating but it was honestly poorly executed I didn't like anything about it I couldn't stand the main characters 

I just feel like the girl was super annoying and it was kind of sketchy how she was like a stalker and the love interest was a douchebag and I didn't like him at all now moving on to the movie 

I think the movie was really interesting because it was a little different than the book and I really liked the changes that they made to it it was pretty exciting 

it was fun the soundtrack was amazing I think the action was actually amazing I love the actors that they chose for the movie 

I think they really played their part and the acting was phenomenal I do want to say that it is kind of cringe and cheesy in a way but it is very explicit 

so if you haven't seen the movie just be aware of that I think overall I would give the movie a seven out of ten and the book I wanted a five but like I said i wouldn't even give it a one-star rating to the book 

because it was so bad I don't recommend this book I recommend watching the movie but I do not recommend this book I know that it means a lot to a lot of people and it probably was because 

when I was reading Wattpad i wasn't reading this I was reading something else and now I'm an adult so I just feel like if this wasn't for me I just didn't really like it 

I think a lot of people love it and a lot of people are gonna give me hate because i didn't like it but I don't care honestly 

I do have to admit that Addis is kind of hot I'm not gonna lie like he is hot but he's a douche like I said and I do not support that kind of relationship whatsoever I do want to say that this reminded me a lot of after and you like a combination 

like after a new combined this is what it is I don't have anything else to say please let me know if you've read the Spanish and the English versions 

if you tell me that the Spanish version is definitely way better than the English version then I would give it a try but if that's not the case that I'm just gonna give up and move on 

i kind of wanted to read the second book as well because I know that it's like about another brother of the Idaho brothers 

and I think that would be interesting to still read it before the movie comes out because I think they're going to be making a sequel
