Book review

This book is a collection of memories or s of Saddam hurti during various instances of her life. The very interesting part about this book is its title itself 3000 Stitches.

The first chapter in the book tells us the relevance of the status 30 Stitches where Sudha Murthy talks about her very first project that she undertook during the initial days of Infosys Foundation.

Sudan Morti was quite young and new in the field of social work. She decides to work for the welfare of Davidassis or the s*x workers community in a specific place in North Karnataka.

Since she was very new and inexperienced in this field, she makes a lot of mistakes while approaching these Tejasi women. But later she puts a lot of effort from her side and connects with these women and understands the real issues they were facing in their lives.

As time passes, she succeeds in changing lives of thousands of Tehrani women. She encourages them to stop doing what they do to earn a living and she helps them to look at life from a different perspective.

She does a lot of things for the educational facilities of their children and she also provides them a better platform to earn a living and feed their children.

And there comes an occasion where these women give Sadaamurti a beautiful sari which was handmade by them.

It had 3000 stitches by 3000 Deodor women who were once DEOD and now living a better life because of Sudha Murthy. So that's how SADA Murphy titles this book as 3000 Stitches.

In other chapters of the book she talks about various other things that happened in her life. She talks about things like how she survived being the only girl student in the BBB Engineering College in Hobby.

She talks about her relationship with her grandparents. She also talks about her visit to Kashi and how she overcame her addiction to shopping for sarees and how she decides to live a minimalistic life.

In one of the chapters, you will also get to read about the history of various fruits and vegetables that we eat in our daily life.

And in one of the chapters, she also talks about how she spends a whole day at Infosys Foundation.

Again talking about Saddam hurt. She is one of those women who does not require any traditional preferences or titles to introduce herself.

See, there is no shame in saying that you are someone's wife, someone's daughter or someone's sister.

But in spite of being all this knowing by your own name is something that I believe is worth living for and Sudan Orti is one of the greatest examples to look up to.

She has earned that respect that she gets today in the society. 3000 teachers have very interesting things for readers to explore. Suda Modi has used very simple language throughout this book.

If you are a beginner and you do not want to read fictional stories then this book is the best nonfiction option for you.

I have rated this book four out of five stars and I would highly recommend you to read this book.
