Caught Up by Liz Tomforde I love this book. This is exactly what I needed to refresh my brain, my life, and my mentality. So for all of those reasons, I'm really enjoying this book. I don't even know how long it is. I didn't even look at how long it is, and you know what? 

I don't even care. I do need to open a window, though, 'cause it's hot in my car. I don't know how that's going to do for the sound. We're just going to pull that back up real fast. But yeah, guys, I'm thriving. Kai Rhodes is hot as hell, and I'm obsessed with him. 

I'm not just obsessed with him either. I'm obsessed with the whole—here's the thing. It's reminding me of Kade and Willa from Heartless, which I love Heartless so much. I convinced Nelli to read it just based on the fact that it was single dad. 

I was obsessed with it, and there's a hot-as-hell porch scene. And now I haven't had a porch scene in this. I have had a kitchen counter scene, though. Let me tell you, hold Kai Rhodes, Kai Rhodes, Kai Rhodes. 

I don't know what his middle name is, and I'ma need to, because I'm going to need to say the full thing, because he's that man. He is that man. What I'm about to say may shock most of you who know me. I'm literally wearing a Chicago Raptor's sweater. 

Hey, Novel Grounds, if you're watching, can you make a Chicago Warrior sweater? 'Cause I need one immediately. But guys, Kai is taking second place. I don't think, right now, I don't know if there's anything he could do to beat Ryan Shay right now.

It's Ryan Shay, CYO, and Evan Sanders. And I'm so sorry to my sweet baby Evan, but Kai is like, "Oh, he's just perfect. I love him. I love his demeanor. I love how he talks, love how he cares about his team and his family and all of the people that he loves. 

I'm just obsessed. Okay, I'm obsessed. I, like, there's not very many other words besides I am and the word obsessed than what I can tell you. So that's your 50% update. I'll update you again, obviously, after however long sprints are tonight.

It was—I swear, Liz outdoes herself every book. I was literally nearly sobbing towards the end because it was just Miller's food and wine article, what Kai says to her, the epilogue, the epilogue, the epilogue. 

I'm, like, screaming. I'm, like, dead. Pretty dead over this, honestly. Also, we got to see Ryan and Indy's wedding, and I think I almost cried just from that because it's Ryan and Indie. And the way Miller comes in the third act is beautiful. Just—the third act is beautiful. 

That's all you really need to know, because I don't want to spoil it for you, I wanted to come to you directly after finishing it. I finished it on sprints with me, and I loved it. Come here. Come on. Nope. Not the phone. 

Do like how my cat just climbs me. Anyways, it's five stars. High Roads is beautiful. I need me a Chicago Warrior sweater. I still need a devil's sweater. Just need to complete my collection section. And, um, I'll come to you in the morning with more coherent thoughts because I've literally only read this book in 24 hours.

So count me there. I thought this could be a Kai's fit. It's probably not. Um, I just wanted to come to finish the caught-up Vlog because, um, I've let my thoughts sit a little bit more. Obviously, love this series. 

I really, really love this series. I think, oh, all five of—not all five—all three of them have been five stars. Liz has already announced the next one, which will be following Kai's brother, Isaiah, which I am so excited about.

I'm so excited about it because it gets set up in the epilogue of caught-up, which I'm interested in. However, I will say I really wanted it to be Rio's book because I'm dying to find out who Rio ends up with. 'Cause obviously, he's going to end up with someone.
