The soulmate equation by Christina Lauren, does it again I love their books you guys I love them and I really loved this one too I actually read this a while ago
So this is coming to you a lot lately but this was so popular on Instagram when it first came out and my Barnes noble put it out a few days early
So I read it early and it was just so good it was so good the soulmate equation is about a girl named Jessica and her and her best friend go and have coffee at the same coffee house every day and of course they see this guy who they call americano
He's got this like the stern look on his face and he always orders an americano and he sits in the same place and they kind of just watching him because duh he's hot
So they find out about this dating site thing that he actually is in charge of and basically his company is trying to match people based on specific markers in their DNA that they are trying to determine creates a perfect match
So there are different levels of matching and you know you can choose whatever levels you want and so Jessica and her best friend decide to do it Jessica kind of decides to do it as a joke but she doesn't really believe in it and she sends the swab
She puts it at like the platinum level match so you have to have like 90 something per cent of a match above that to show anything right so she does this and of course, she matches and who else does she match with other than dr river Pena
Who is the creator of this whole thing americano from the coffee shop duh, of course, that would happen right and not only are they a match
But they are a perfect match higher than any match that this dating site has ever gotten before so now they have to decide is science going to determine that they should actually be together or do they really want to be together this book was
So cute you guys it was so cute and I feel like I really loved the mix of the science and the romance in it because you know they've got the whole obviously the way that the um company works with the DNA and the matches
You're scientifically you're a perfect match but then there are also like kind of side love stories with Jessica's grandparents who helped raise her who like to to have true love and have been together forever
So there's kind of like which way is it gonna happen like will it happens just finding your person or will it happen because of the algorithm that they developed
So it was cute I really liked it there was one thing that I didn't like about it though and that's that they released it in hardcover and I'm not gonna lie this really irritated me it doesn't fit on my shelf like look this is my romance shelf
How am I supposed to put this big ass hardcover book with all the rest of this kind of the same shaped books like no no no why would you do that Christina Lauren like
Where am I supposed to put this because not going there I don't know where to put it now it's gonna have to go with all the mismatched fiction on the other side of the bookshelves that's the one thing I really didn't like about this book was
I wish it was paperback like the rest of them anyways go check out the soulmate equation for another wonderful Christina Lauren book.
