Book Review:

Ana Huang's All I've Never Wanted was released in March 2017. The book is about her journey from being a young girl who grew up in a small town in China to becoming a successful author. She writes about how she overcame many obstacles along the way and how she became a woman.

I read this book because I wanted to know what happened after the end of her first novel, The Book Thief. I was interested in reading about her personal life and how she got to where she is today.

The beginning of the book starts off slow. We learn about her childhood and how she grew up in a small Chinese village. Her family had a lot of money, but they were not rich at all. They lived in a house that was built by her grandfather, and he did not live with them. He would only visit once a year. When Ana was younger, she always wished that her parents would get divorced and that her father would move out. She thought that if her parents broke up, then she could have her own room and her mother could take care of her.

When Ana was 10 years old, her father died. Her mother took her to Beijing to stay with her aunt. While staying with her aunt, she met a boy named Zhang. He was the son of a wealthy businessman.

They started dating and fell in love. However, their relationship ended when Zhang went back home to his family. After that, Ana moved to Shanghai to live with her grandmother.

She worked at a factory to make extra money. One day, she saw a man selling books outside of the factory. She bought a few books and brought them home. That night, she decided to write a story based on those books.

After writing her first novel, The Story of Qiu Ju, she sent it to publishers. Unfortunately, no publisher wanted to publish it. So, she decided to self-publish it. She sold over 100 copies of the book. She continued to write novels and eventually published two others. In 2014, she won the Young Adult Novel Award.

In 2015, she wrote All I've Never Wanted. This book tells the story of her life before she became a writer. She talks about how she came to America and how she struggled to find a job. She also talks about how she dealt with racism and sexism.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. I learned a lot about her life and how she became a successful author. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about her life.
