I have read many books about wolves over my lifetime, but I had never really paid much attention to them until recently. I was reading some reviews online about how awesome this book was and decided to give it a shot. I am glad I did because I absolutely loved it!
The story follows two young women who live together in a remote cabin in the woods. One day they discover a wolf pup trapped inside their home. After taking care of him, they name him Wolfie. He grows up alongside these girls and becomes a close friend to both of them. When he reaches adulthood, he goes off to live his own life and finds himself back at the same place where he met his human friends. There he meets a woman named Laura who he falls deeply in love with. She is a wolf herself and she wants to take Wolfie away from his human family and bring him back to her pack.
Overall, this book was amazing! It was full of emotion and heartwarming moments. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good read.
Summary: In the first installment of her new series, G. Bailey takes us back to the time before humans were even aware of wolves. She tells the story of two young wolf cubs who become separated from their pack in the wild. As they struggle to survive alone, they learn how to hunt together and find love. But their journey isn't over yet, as they continue to search for each other and their family.
